Kindermotion Founder Honored with CWE Andrea C. Silbert Star Award

Kindermotion and Dance of New England is excited to share that founder Susan Racette has been selected as a 2026 recipient of the Center for Women & Enterprise (CWE) Andrea C. Silbert Star Award.

The award recognizes entrepreneurs who have demonstrated business success while creating meaningful opportunities within their communities. Susan was honored alongside an inspiring group of women business owners from across New England.

What began as a vision to make extracurricular activities more accessible for busy families has grown into a program that brings dance, tumbling, fitness, yoga, and sports directly to schools, child care centers, and recreation facilities throughout the region. By offering classes where children already spend their day, Kindermotion helps make enrichment programs more convenient for families while supporting children’s physical, social, and emotional development.

“This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the impact that can happen when communities, schools, families, and educators work together to create opportunities for children,” said Susan. “Every class, partnership, and smiling child has helped make this achievement possible.”

Susan credits much of Kindermotion’s growth to the support of the Center for Women & Enterprise, whose programs help entrepreneurs launch, strengthen, and grow their businesses.

As Kindermotion continues to expand, the company’s mission remains the same: making high-quality, enriching movement experiences simple and accessible for children while helping schools and child care programs offer more opportunities to the families they serve.

Thank you to the Center for Women & Enterprise, our school and child care partners, our instructors, and the families who trust Kindermotion to be part of their children’s journey. This recognition belongs to all of you as well.
